Biometric Devices
Mobile Application (with Geofencing & Geotags)
Biometric devices provide physical validation for clock-in and clock-out. These devices are ideal for in-office or secure locations.
Go to Attendance > ClockIn Devices.
Click Add New Device.
Under Device Category, choose Biometric Device.
Configure the device details (Device Name, Capture method, etc.).
Save the configuration.
Biometrics ensure identity validation, prevent buddy punching, and provide accurate time records.
ZuriHR’s mobile app enables employees to clock in/out from their phones. This method supports Geo-tagging and Geo-fencing, making it ideal for field teams or hybrid workers.
Navigate to Attendance > ClockIn Devices.
Click Add New Device.
Select Mobile Login as the device category.
Geo Tags are enabled by default.
Check the Configure Geo-Fencing box.
Click Add Geo-Fence to open the Google Map interface:
Search for the location to geofence.
Adjust the circle size to define the allowed radius.
Drag the circle to fine-tune latitude and longitude.
Save the configuration.
Geo Tags store exact coordinates during clock-in/out.
Geo-Fencing ensures users can only clock in/out within a defined perimeter.
Location-based restrictions prevent unauthorized clock-ins.
Real-time attendance tracking for HR and managers.
Supports multi-site or remote workforce attendance monitoring.
