Managing Absenteeism in ZuriHR for Non-Biometric and Mobile Users

ZuriHR recognizes that not all employees clock in using biometric or mobile attendance systems. For such cases, the Absenteeism feature provides an efficient way to track, manage, and process attendance records manually. 

Accessing the Absenteeism Interface

To access absenteeism management:

  1. Log in to your ZuriHR account

  2. Navigate to “Attendance” > “Absenteeism”

You’ll find two key tabs:

  • View Absenteeism Listings

  • Bulk Add Absenteeism

1. View Absenteeism Listings

This tab displays a list of employees alongside their total absent hours and approved hours for the selected period.

Available Filters:

  • Select Month

  • Select Employee

  • Select Department

  • Select Region

Export Options:

You can export the absenteeism data in various formats, including:

  • CSV

  • Excel

  • PDF

This allows for seamless reporting and payroll preparation.

2. Bulk Add Absenteeism

This tab enables you to add multiple absenteeism records at once, especially useful for teams not using real-time attendance tools.

Available Filters:

  • Select Month

  • Select Employee

Bulk Actions:

After selecting the absenteeism logs, you can perform the following actions via the “Select Action” dropdown:

  • Submit for Approval

  • Approve

  • Submit for Disapproval

  • Disapprove

  • Schedule for Payroll

  • Remove from Payroll Schedule

  • Bulk Delete

Adding Absenteeism Logs:

You  add  absenteeism entries directly within this tab, by  "Add New Row" and populate required data. Once entered, the system automatically:

  • Calculates the total hours

  • Computes the payable or deductible amount based on your payroll settings

You will confirm and update absenteeism logs.
