Managing Overtime in ZuriHR for Non-Biometric and Mobile Users

ZuriHR understands that not all employees clock in through biometric or mobile devices. To accommodate such teams, the platform offers a comprehensive Overtime interface for manually recording and processing extra working hours. This module ensures fair compensation and accurate payroll, even when automated attendance systems aren't used.

Accessing the Overtime Interface

To manage overtime:

  1. Log in to your ZuriHR account

  2. Navigate to “Attendance” > “Overtime”

You will find two main tabs:

  • View Overtime Listings

  • Bulk Add Overtime

1. View Overtime Listings

This tab displays a list of employees along with their total overtime hours and approved overtime hours for the selected period.

Available Filters:

  • Select Month

  • Select Employee

  • Select Department

  • Select Region

Export Options:

Overtime data is fully exportable in the following formats:

  • CSV

  • Excel

  • PDF

This feature simplifies report sharing and payroll documentation.

2. Bulk Add Overtime

Use this tab to manually enter and manage multiple overtime records at once. Ideal for teams that don’t use clock-in devices.

Available Filters:

  • Select Month

  • Select Employee

Adding New Overtime Logs:

  • Click “Add New Row” to create a new overtime entry.

  • Fill in the required fields .

  • ZuriHR automatically calculates total hours and computes the payable amount .

  • Once confirmed, click “Update” to save the log.

Bulk Actions Available:

Select multiple employee overtime logs and use the “Select Action” dropdown to perform bulk updates:

  • Submit for Approval

  • Approve

  • Submit for Disapproval

  • Disapprove

  • Schedule for Payroll

  • Remove from Payroll Schedule

  • Bulk Delete
